The car’s three-door variant – Cooper Paceman, will feature some new design details for 2015, a sportier interior finish, and minor revisions to its powertrains and has been shown in its new form for the first time at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show.
Just like the five-door Countryman, the 2015 Paceman doesn’t come with a whole lot of noticeable changes, unless you count the three new color options Mini Mini is offering with the new Paceman. The good news is that same Jungle Green shade we swooned over on the Countryman is also going to be available on the Paceman.
Power for the Cooper S is up from 135kW to 140kW, while torque from the 1.6 litre twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine remains at 240Nm. Fuel consumption in the Cooper S has improved from 6.6 to 6.0 l/100km, reflecting a general improvement in fuel economy across the model range.
